In the present ITM-DGD Framework Agreement some funds were made available to explore an initiative named “Schools of Public Health Alliance” (SPHA)
The overall goal of this networking initiative is to explore possible scenarios for collaborative training activities in an Alliance of Schools of Public Health.
The objective of this exploratory meeting is to
1. get a better understanding of the focus and structure of the MPH courses (or course components) our partner institutions organize,
2. map in which collaborative initiatives (regional, national, international) they are already engaged and
3. explore which collaborative initiatives would be useful / feasible among partners and/or with ITM.
A 2-day SPHA exploratory meeting (29-30 May, 2015) was organized immediately after the LINQED workshop. In total, 11 member institutions partners who organise a Public Health training programme participated.
